Streamlining Corporate Filings with Workflow Manager

Overview
Corp2000, a leader in corporate filings, primarily serves large law firms. In 2007, the company faced significant operational challenges as they lacked a software solution to support their unique needs. To address these challenges, I-Tul Design & Software, Inc. developed a comprehensive system known as Workflow Manager (WFM). This robust software dramatically increased their filing productivity, efficiency and organization. WFM remained in production until 2021and played a crucial role in Corp2000’s successful exit.

Challenge

Before our collaboration, Corp2000 encountered several key issues:

  • Manual Order Management: Orders were received via web, fax, and email, requiring manual handling and processing.
  • Inefficient Workflow: Large orders needed to be broken into manageable tasks, and multiple team members needed coordination.
  • Vendor and Billing Management: Managing communications and billing with vendors was cumbersome.
  • Data Integration: There was no integration with third-party data sources, hindering efficiency.
  • Client Communication: Managing client billing and providing a seamless way for clients to share documents with end users was a challenge.

Solution

To tackle these issues, we developed the Workflow Manager (WFM), a custom software solution designed to streamline and automate Corp2000’s processes. Key features of WFM included:
